Enjoy the amazing scenery of the majestic Kale Dagi Mountain. This is the absolute highlight trek of our area.

INTRODUCTION
Our hike starts at a 275m high pass and climbs gently up to the forest watchtower of Kale Dagi (530m). After a refreshing break we can enjoy the views of the Gokova and Gulluk Bays. We will explore the little known ancient city of Syangela with its defence walls and giant cistern. Then we are heading down on the ancient path to Etrim Village. Here we finish our walk with a picnic lunch in the Village Teahouse.

ABOUT SYANGELA
The city of Syangela was found by king Mausolus II in the first half of the 4th century. The name Syangela means in the ancient Luwi language Gate to Mother Goddess.
