SEA KAYAKING WEEK 'EASTERN LYCIA'

Sea Kayaking in the calm waters of Olympos National Park, is the best way, to visit the home of the Lycians and sea turtles. The coastline between Adrasan and Phaselis offers quiet beaches and unspoilt bays, to discover with your kayak. The natural beauty of the surrounding area guarantees that the complete beginner will love to paddle here as much as the experienced kayaker.

Paddle-times are between 3 and 5 hours daily depending on the weather conditions and group abilities.

This is a sample of our most favourite sea kayaking itinerary.

Day 3: Ceneviz und Olympos

From our camp it goes to the famous Olympos ancient city, with an on route swim-stop in Ceneviz Bay. After some sightseeing the group paddles the final part of the day along the beach to our cirali pension. In the evening we have the opportunity to visit the eternal flames of chimera.

Day 4: Maden Bay

This day begins with a wonderful sunrise at the beach of Cirali, we paddle around Karaburun cape to Maden Bay for our first swim-stop and the exploration of an abandoned chrome mine. The afternoon goes via Mehmetler Bay to Tatlisu Bay for our camp.

Day 1: Arrival

The transfer from the Antalya airport to Adrasan takes just 1½ hours; if the group arrives early there will be time to check the equipment and to have a little paddle in the bay.

Day 2: Cape Cavus

After some preparation and training we will paddle out of the bay, with en on route swim-break, to the wild cape of Cavus. Once around the cape we can rest in the Shepperds Bay before we continue to Sazak Bay for the first camp.

Day 7: Free Day

Time to relax and opportunity to join extra activities;
Such as Canyoning, Mountainbike or Trekking

Day 8: Departure

Day 5: Three Islands and Tekirova

We paddle out to the three islands for a swim and to admire the lovely coastline from a distance. Then we had back to the shore of Tekirova to reach our final accommodation.

Day 6: Phaselis

Leaving directly from Sundance we aim for Bal Limani, this is the military harbourof the ancient Phaselis. Here we will go on land and explore the ruins of this fascinating site. The next part of our trip goes along the coast of the Necropolis towards Alacasu Bay (a famous local picnic spot) where we have a swim-stop. Finally we had back to Sundance from a larger distance to the coast to enjoy the scenery.
